Vaulty is designed as a private photo vault. The app stores your imported photos, private notes, favorites, and photo details locally on your device.

Data collection

Vaulty does not collect personal data from the app. We do not sell, rent, share, track, or transmit your photos, notes, metadata, PIN, Face ID status, or app usage to our servers or third parties.

Photos and metadata

Photos you import into Vaulty are saved inside the app’s private local storage. Photo details such as date taken, dimensions, file size, camera information, and location metadata are read from the image file when available and shown inside the app. This information stays on your device.

Permissions

Vaulty may request access to your photo library so you can import photos and, only when you choose, delete originals from the Photos app after import. Vaulty may request Face ID access so you can unlock your private vault using biometrics. You can also use a custom 4-digit PIN.

Security

Vaulty requires unlock when you leave and return to the app. Your PIN is stored securely using iOS Keychain protection. Face ID authentication is handled by iOS and Vaulty does not receive or store biometric data.

Third-party services

Vaulty does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or account sign-in services.
